What We Need 

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior BackEnd Developer within our CCS division. This position falls under our Corpay line of business and is based in Prague. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C/C++, Java, Linux and advanced SQL
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will develop, test and maintain the solutions.
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business and Architectural board.

How We Work 

As a Senior BackEnd Developer you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities 

The responsibilities of the role will include: 

  • Designing, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using .C/C++, Java, Linux and advanced SQL technologies.
  • Collaborating with Business Leads, Third party Teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver the solutions. 
  • Providing technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting best practices and coding standards.
  • Being involved in code reviews, production, incident analysis and contribute to the Incident reductions.

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on C/C++, and Java. 
  • Mandatory 5+ years of experience in C/C++ especially in (gcc,HP-UX C , Oracle SQL-C). 
  • Mandatory 3+ years of experience in the Linux System.
  • Solid understanding of database design and management (e.g., SQL Server,Oracle, Informix ,Oracle PL-SQL).
  • Good knowledge in the scripting languages such as Shell, XGF Scripting , Datacard Scripting ,Bash ,Unix Scripting etc.
  • Knowledge in the Cryptographic algorithms , Industry protocols such as : CCS IFSF Standards, Thales Luna, Understanding of HSM modules.
  • Datacard 9000 embosser, VErifone API, Oracle OCI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Czech - At least B2 level  .
